Secondary colors are utilised in printed matter and presentation materials (incl. diagrams and graphics). The colors in Office software (.ppt, .doc, .xls) will be chosen by RGB values. 

Shades of grey can be used in every material when needed. But rest of the secondary colors (blue, green and yellow) are ure used primarily in Office materials.
